Hartnell College

We are thrilled to bring you the 2024 Hartnell College Foundation Gala for the Arts. Help us stay bold in our stewardship for the arts, which are always a source of healing, inspiration and joy! Share our vision and commitment to investing in dynamic, responsive, and inspiring programs that empower youth, students, and community members to develop critical skills, sharpen creative inquiry, explore artistic expression, and work in collaboration, all while deepening empathy – for the self and others.

Guests will enjoy a fun evening of delicious food and beverages, a silent auction, and an inspiring program.  For the second year, we will honor a distinguished alum in the arts, a community arts hero, The Western Stage distinguished honoree and the newly minted distinguished service to the arts.  Gala guests will have the option to attend The Western Stage performance of The Hunchback of Notre Dame after the Gala.

Sincerely, Hartnell College Foundation and the Council for the Arts

Your Impact

Your donation enriches the Hartnell College student experience by fostering space for self-expression while cultivating imagination, passion for the creative process, and desire for high-level artistic experiences all while developing strong workforce pathways to propel artists into careers in the arts.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

A lushly scored retelling of Victor Hugo’s epic story of love, acceptance and what it means to be a hero. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel.

The Council for the Arts

Mission: With the conviction that the arts have the power to change lives, leaders from a variety of industries and interests come together on the Hartnell College Foundation Council for the Arts to provide material, financial, and community support, that enable the arts at Hartnell to thrive and students to move from instruction in the classroom to entry into the creative workforce.
